The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in Shipping law, while experience in Maritime law will be considered a great asset. The selected professional must be perfectly bilingual, be a member in good standing of the Québec Bar and must've already advocated in front of the Courts many times. A Common Law degree and good knowledge of the Federal Courts are great assets.

The successful lawyer will be called upon to act in litigation files in the Federal Court, the Superior Court and the Court of Québec, will conduct research and provide opinions on transportation regulations and assist more senior lawyers in the negotiation of contracts and transactions in the marine transportation and other transportation industries. You will have the opportunity to work directly with the national leader of the Maritime Law Group.
