Pennecon Heavy Civil is currently completing work in Golden, BC for the Quartz Creek bridge and highway project and we are seeking individuals who are qualified and interested in joining our team in the role of:
Location: Golden, BC
Reporting to the Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the processing of timesheets, job status reporting, purchase orders, job tracking and invoicing, bid tracking, job status reports, assist with the preparation of weekly reports, filing and document control, employee travel booking, fuel logs, maintaining employee data and various other administrative duties, as per project requirements.
The successful candidate will be a high energy individual who supports the Company’s safety and quality programs, has excellent communication, organizational skills and has the ability to work in a fast paced environment. They must have a strong work ethic, work well within a team environment and be proficient with the use of computer programs such as Microsoft Excel. Experience working with labour relations, unions and unionized craft labour will be considered an asset in this role.
The ideal candidate will have a diploma/degree in Office/Business Administration and four - five (4 – 5) years of proven experience in the office administration field, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
