We are looking to add Mechanics and Technicians to our growing team.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 year experience is required
- Must have knowledge of DOT/MTO rules and regulations
- Knowledge of truck parts and equipment and truck repairs
- Must have computer skills to Diagnose the codes and technical problems
- Having a class 1 license is an asset
- Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician or registered apprentice is an asset
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Diagnose problems and mechanical failures and ensure safe operation of Trucks, Trailers and Refrigeration units.
- Ability to troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, determine extent of repair required, adjust equipment, and repair or replace defective parts.
- Perform maintenance services, with the primary focus on all refrigeration units such as Carrier and Thermo King commercial refrigeration equipment designed for commercial trailers.
- Perform routine repair work on Trucks and trailers.
- Works in accordance with all federal/ provincial and corporate compliance guidelines (i.e., safety, DOT, MTO)
- Keep maintenance records and documentation and complete paperwork daily for each vehicle serviced.
- Ensure shop/repair facility is maintained in a safe manner and is always clean and tidy.
- Other tasks assigned by supervisor or management

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
