Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Service Advisor to join our team. The Service Advisor will act as a liaison between customers and the service department, ensuring excellent customer service and smooth vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
Duties
- Greet customers and assist them with scheduling service appointments
- Listen to customers' concerns and accurately document issues with their vehicles
- Provide recommendations on necessary repairs and maintenance services
- Communicate effectively with the service technicians to ensure timely completion of work
- Upsell additional services or products based on customers' needs
- Handle cash transactions and process payments for services rendered
Qualifications
- Prior experience in automotive repair or dealership setting is preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge to understand and explain vehicle issues to customers
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Proficient in cash handling procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
