Position Description
The Web Design Specialist will play a key role at Userful. The primary responsibility of this role is to support the Global Marketing Team to optimize and monitor the functionality and performance of our website and landing pages.
This individual needs to love working with data while providing a scientific approach to their decision making. Having a proficient understanding of SEO best practices, user journey mapping, and A/B testing a bonus.
The Web Designer will be a key member of the Global Marketing team responsible for collaborating with multiple functions within marketing and working with short deadlines and feedback loops.
Responsibilities:
Optimize web pages and landing pages for SEO and SEM respectively
Monitor SEO performance and work closely with our content marketing team to improve organic search results
Organize and manage the website making sure users are interacting with the most relevant and up to date content
Develop hypotheses to test and improve user experience in both web pages and landing pages
Analyse and report on website performance, user journey, conversion rates, and present opportunities for further improvement and integration with our CRM
Qualifications
At least 2+ years of experience in a Web Design role is required for this position
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
Post Secondary Diploma or Degree in relevant subjects such as Web/Graphic Design, Digital Marketing
Knowledge and experience with HTML and CSS
Past experience building/managing corporate websites
Experience with Hubspot, CMS or the Hubspot CRM
Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, AdobeXD
Knowledge of Design Thinking or Growth Driven Design Methodology
