SENIOR MARKETING MANAGER

Octasic is growing and seeks a stellar and forward-thinking Senior Marketing Manager to take on a multifaceted and strategic role that targets four principal marketing pillars:
- Strategic – annual planning, market and competitive analysis, corporate brand programs
- Product marketing – convert Octasic technology solutions into educational- and sales-driven messaging and tools
- Content marketing – plan and manage the creation and distribution of all marketing-related content that is aligned with product and corporate objectives
- Digital marketing – web development, SEO, marketing automation, reporting, tactical outbound and re-targeting
You combine exceptional people leadership skills with a deep passion for marketing, technology, and how to help convert influencers and buyers into customers via education and associated campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy
o Contribute to annual marketing plans in line with corporate goals and product roadmaps
o Build regularly updated market and competitive analysis reports for product and sales teams
o Initiate innovative program opportunities that help nurture the Octasic brand
o Develop focused media buy plans for print and digital advertising.
Product marketing
- o Become a subject matter expert on Octasic products, technologies, and associated markets to assist in the education of targeted buyers and influencers with compelling product positioning and superior ‘demand generation’ content.
o Work closely with the sales team to develop dedicated tools to accelerate funnel opportunities.
o Cultivate and leverage relationships with customers to develop case studies, testimonials, and references that support marketing and sales efforts.
Content marketing
- o Drive all strategic content as an editor-in-chief. Collaborate with Octasic stakeholders and other SMEs to conceive, plan, write, edit, assign (internal and external resources), and manage the creation and distribution of all content.
o Conceive and write first-rate advertisements for digital and print advertising.
Digital marketing
- o Optimize website for quality traffic and frictionless client experiences.
o Search Engine Optimization with or without the use of AI tools.
o Marketing automation (HubSpot) to manage campaigns, workflows, and communications.
o Outbound marketing campaigns in concert with product and sales teams using marketing-run ABM campaigns via LinkedIn, Hubspot, and other tools.
o Marketing-to-Sales funnel management and conversion reporting.
o Google tools (GA4, GSC, GTM, Looker) and ROI and key metrics reporting.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism, Engineering, or a related degree and/or relevant digital marketing and/or B2B product marketing work experience;
- 10+ years of proven B2B marketing experience in software/hardware technologies
- Impeccable organizational skills
- Excellent English spoken and written communication skills for the creation of marketing campaigns linked to an English-speaking audience
- Proficient at conceiving creative concepts and copy for design agency
- Proven track record in developing digital campaigns with associated tracking and reporting
- Subject matter expert on a variety of technologies and markets
- Skilled at distilling data from user insights, competitor and market developments, into strategic positionings and offerings
- Experienced at creating value propositions and messaging strategies that resonate with prospects
- Capable of juggling multiple outsourced suppliers and freelance talent – ours or yours.
- Understanding of US and international defense and national security markets
- You thrive on collaboration, problem solving, and evaluating priorities
