Job Overview
Uncle Tetsu Japanese Cheesecake is hiring full-time Bakers for our Vancouver locations.
No prior baking experience is required — training is provided for candidates who are motivated and reliable.
This is a permanent, year-round position in a fast-paced bakery environment.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare and bake bakery products following company standards
- Assist with ingredient preparation, stocking, and packaging
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
- Support opening and closing shifts as scheduled
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- Food Handler Safety Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Nice to Have (Not Required):
- Experience in baking, food service, or food production
- Willingness to learn and follow procedures
Schedule & Availability
- Full-time: 40 hours per week (minimum 5 days)
- Part-time positions available
- Shifts range from 7:30 AM to 9:00 PM
- Weekend and holiday availability required
Physical Requirement
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 25 kg
- Comfortable working in a warm, fast-paced environment
