We are currently seeking a positive, motivated Apprentice Electrician (2nd, 3rd, or 4th Year) to join our growing team. Position Summary
The Apprentice Electrician works under the direction of a Foreman or Journeyman Electrician to assist with the installation, construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC). This position offers the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in commercial construction and electrical installations while developing the technical skills necessary to advance within the trade.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist Journeyman Electricians and Foremen with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Install electrical circuits, panels, conduit, protective devices, switches, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
- Install, repair, or replace electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, and lighting systems.
- Lay out circuits, assist with panel installation, and help install fixtures, lighting, and other electrical equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, electrical drawings, and technical specifications.
- Assist with low-voltage systems, communication wiring, and security systems under supervision.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively.
- Support commercial construction, renovation, and electrical installation projects.
- Participate in inspections, quality control checks, and basic troubleshooting activities as directed.
- Follow instructions from Journeymen and Foremen while continuing to develop trade knowledge and technical skills.
- Maintain accurate paperwork, documentation, and company records.
- Participate actively in job-site safety meetings, hazard assessments, and safety programs.
- Comply with company policies, industry standards, safety procedures, and PPE requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
- Represent the company professionally and contribute to exceptional customer service.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Ability to work at heights, on ladders, and on aerial work platforms.
- Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor environments.
- Ability to wear and maintain all required PPE.
Qualifications & CertificationsRequired
- Registered Apprentice Electrician (2nd, 3rd, or 4th Year preferred).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Reliable vehicle.
- Own hand tools.
- Fall Protection Certification.
- Aerial Work Platform Certification.
- CSTS-09 Certification.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
