We are looking for reliable, energetic, and engaging Soccer Coaches to work part-time every weekend on Saturday and/or Sunday mornings. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening shifts could also be available. If you are passionate about working with children, being active and playing soccer, this is the ideal job for you!
Little Kickers provides children 18 months to 8 years of age a positive introduction to sport via soccer. Our soccer skills and games are taught in a fun and non-competitive environment. Coaches employ their imagination and creativity to deliver the lessons in an engaging and playful atmosphere. Actors, soccer players, teachers or those enrolled in the ECE program would be the perfect fit for Little Kickers. All training is provided.
Compensation and hours:
- Lead Coach role begins at $18.25 per hour. After probation period, coaches that carry equipment receive increase to $18.50/hr and eligible for a monthly incentive bonus.
- Expect 4-10 hours weekly during winter/start of Spring
- Up to 12-17 hours weekly available during Spring/Summer (outdoor) season
Requirements:
- Experience working with and engaging young children
- Must be able to work Saturday mornings
- Reliable and able to commit to working on a weekly basis
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and outgoing personality and who enjoys working with children, parents, and co-workers
- Able to be playful, fun, and imaginative with children
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with children and deliver feedback to parents
- High energy individual who is able to coach soccer skills/games with young children for 3+ hours
