About the Job
Are you an experienced heavy equipment operator who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? Join our team as a Crushing Plant Operator and play a key role in keeping our aggregate operations running safely and efficiently.
In this position, you’ll support our primary operators in the operation, maintenance, and repair of our crushing plant. Every day brings variety and responsibility — from operating loaders and other heavy equipment to assisting with plant maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and keeping the site clean and organized.
This is a full-time opportunity based out of our Grey Bruce location, offering a competitive wage of $29.65 – $30.65 per hour.
What You’ll Do
Operate loaders and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Assist with the operation, maintenance, and repair of crushing plant equipment
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Support plant clean-up and general site duties
Work collaboratively with operators and supervisors to meet production targets
Maintain a strong focus on safety and environmental standards
Here’s What You Need
Minimum 3 years of Loader experience (mandatory)
Valid G driver’s license in good standing
Strong mechanical aptitude
Proven experience operating heavy equipment
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Supervisory experience
Welder/welding experience
Previous experience in Asphalt, Aggregate, Ready-Mix, or Roadbuilding environments
