Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and unloading the parts from the machine in the Welding department with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in manufacturing environments to contribute to high-quality product output.
Position Overview
In this role, you will operate robotic welding equipment in a safe and efficient manner. No manual welding experience is required, as the welding process is fully automated through robotic systems.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Loading raw materials and parts into welding fixtures
- Operating robotic welding machines
- Inspecting finished parts for visual defects and quality standards
- Placing completed parts into designated bins
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Following all workplace safety and production procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous machine operator experience is considered a strong asset
- Experience in automotive manufacturing is an asset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production setting
- Ability to work day and afternoon shifts
- Flexibility to work overtime when required
- Reliable transportation is required, as the facility is not accessible by public transit
