Event Coordinator / Sales Representative

Description:
We're ELLA Audiovisual, a Montreal-based AV production company serving the corporate events market. We're seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Event Coordinator to join our team on a commission-based structure. Your job is to open doors and our team handles the close and the production.
Responsibilities:
Finding events: Proactively identify and reach out to potential clients and event organizers, including corporate event planners, agencies, hotels and venues, professional associations, conferences, galas, and other corporate gatherings. Cold and warm outreach both welcome.
Developing relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with event planners, venue managers, and corporate clients to secure recurring business and referrals. Understand each client's needs so our team can bring their vision to life.
Staying informed: Keep on top of local event trends, upcoming opportunities, and competitor activity to spot new avenues for growth.
Compensation:
This is a commission-based role with the potential to earn 5–10% on every secured event booking, plus residual commission when those clients rebook. Your earning potential is directly tied to the business you bring in: uncapped, no ceiling.
Qualifications:
- Experience in sales, business development, or event coordination is a strong asset, especially with existing contacts in corporate events, hospitality, agencies, or venues
- Excellent verbal and written communication; comfortable opening conversations cold or warm
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Bilingual (French/English) strongly preferred for the Montreal market
- Flexibility to work varied hours around client and event schedules
