We are currently looking for a Visual Merchandiser to join our blue crew at Head Office!
The Corporate Visual Merchandiser is responsible for ensuring that merchandise presentations represent the Company brand and image consistently throughout all store environments. This role works directly with the Marketing, Allocations and Buying teams to maximize all Company strategies. The Corporate Visual Merchandiser must also work in direct partnership with Store Visual and Operational teams to maximize Company visual presentation by identifying market needs and developing appropriate strategies to support the brand, image and sales initiatives. This role collaborates with all partners to effectively plan new store openings while ensuring effective implementation of visual presentation strategies through directive manuals and communications.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Work with the store visual team to ensure department initiatives and goals are met
· Create metrics and measure results against plans and goals
· Support and partner with store operations to communicate visual directives, ensuring visual directions meet Company standards
· Prepare store visual presentation training sessions
· Participate in weekly conference calls and monthly/seasonal meetings
· Implement and supervise visual presentation strategies that support business growth
· Ensure visual directives/updates are coordinated and executed effectively and a visual work calendar is maintained
· Maintain consistent directive content, accuracy formatting/style
· Rollout and support the update of all visual guides and manuals as necessary
· Supervise the merchandising of test stores to create new and exciting strategies
· Analyze merchandise results and create plans to maximize sales
· Make recommendations in the selection of fixtures/visual supplies; maintain inventory and catalogue of all visual supplies
· Support the effective execution of new store openings and all new store visual rollout initiatives, newsletters, directives etc.
· Develop systems and processes for Visual department initiatives to include floor plan, seasonal recap meetings, floor plan map process, and communications packages
· Partner with the Marketing department in regards to signage and graphics
· Monitor trends in social media tools, applications, designs and strategy to stay current
· Archive all visual work and computer files
· Manage and complete all administrative functions for the Visual department
· Adhere to corporate health and safety policy requirements that contribute to a safe work place
· Store environment

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
· Ability to climb ladders
· High school diploma or equivalent
· Post-secondary education in the fashion field an asset
· 3+ years’ experience in a fashion retail
· Proficient in Microsoft Office
· Proficient in Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
