Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial and institutional spaces. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are kept tidy, sanitized, and welcoming for clients, staff, and visitors. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals committed to high standards of cleanliness. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors
- Sanitize restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health and safety standards
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistent quality
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards identified during cleaning duties
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to create a safe environment for all occupants
Skills
- Previous custodial or commercial cleaning experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners
- Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills for reporting issues or supply needs
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
