You do not have to know everything on day 1 and truthfully you will not know everything on day 1 unless you are already a ISA Arborist
Responsibilities
Assist with the inspection, pruning, and removal of trees using safe and efficient techniques.
Support rigging operations to safely lower large limbs or trees during pruning or removal projects.
Operate bucket lifts to access elevated work areas safely and effectively.
Participate in landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, mulching, and general site cleanup.
Utilize GIS (Geographic Information Systems) technology for mapping and planning tree care projects.
Help with equipment maintenance, ensuring tools like chainsaws, pruning shears, and safety gear are in top condition.
Contribute to safety protocols by following established procedures during all work activities.
Qualifications
A strong interest in urban forestry is essential.
Prior experience or familiarity with rigging techniques is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
Ability to operate trucks and bucket lifts safely is desirable; training will be available for qualified candidates.
Knowledge of GIS systems or willingness to learn is beneficial for project planning tasks.
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and learning.
Physical ability to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions, including lifting heavy objects and working at heights.
A valid driver’s license is a MUST

Pay: $900.00-$1,300.00 per week
