UNITY Fitness Harbourfront (joinunity.ca), a 45,000 sq. ft. fitness facility in the heart of the Sugar Wharf community in downtown Toronto, is recruiting a full time Partnerships, Sponsorships & Events Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing UNITY's brand through strategic partnerships, corporate relationships, sponsorship sales and unforgettable community events.
This is a revenue-generating position. Success will be measured by sponsorship revenue, partnership growth, event execution, and community engagement.
The ideal candidate is well connected within Toronto's fitness, lifestyle, hospitality and corporate communities and thrives on building relationships that create value for both UNITY and its partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership Development
- Develop new corporate partnerships
- Secure local and national sponsorship opportunities
- Create annual partnership packages
- Manage partner relationships
- Prospect new businesses weekly
- Build relationships with hospitality, retail, health, wellness and lifestyle brands
- Coordinate with Media creators for hi-fi and low-fi coverage of events
Sponsorship Sales - generating sponsorship revenue for:
- Club tournaments
- League sponsorships
- Court naming rights
- Community programming
- Corporate wellness initiatives
- Seasonal campaigns
- Grand openings
- High End Brand activations
- Responsible for generating new sponsorship revenue annually.
Events - Leading, planning and execution of:
- Member events
- Community events
- Charity tournaments
- Brand activations
- Product launches
- Corporate networking events
- Member appreciation events
- Work closely with club GMs and operations.
- Community Growth
- Develop relationships with:
- Local businesses
- Influencers
- Media
- Municipal organizations
- Schools
- Universities
- Sports organizations
- Represent UNITY throughout the community.
Marketing Collaboration - partnering with marketing to:
- Build promotional campaigns
- Coordinate content opportunities
- Maximize sponsor exposure
- Develop event marketing plans
- Aligning with marketing on media requirements from activations/events
Ideal Candidate:
- 3–5+ years in sponsorship sales, partnerships, business development or event marketing
- Existing network across Toronto business and lifestyle communities
- Excellent relationship-building and sales skills
- Strong project management
- Comfortable working evenings and weekends during events
- Passion for sport, fitness and community
Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
