The position of Studio Manager(SM) is seen as an integral position within the organization. The SM will be responsible for the total oversight of a specific studio. This includes sales, operations and fitness. Direct reports include the Assistant Managers, Sales Associates and Head Coach. The Studio Manager position is a full-time position that demands a top-tier leader to maintain and grow the overall success of the studio. The Studio Manager is a highly trusted individual with access to sensitive and confidential information. The role requires the utmost professionalism, tact and discretion. The Studio Manager is responsible for maximizing sales/profitability, streamlining studio operations and supporting recruitment/optimal staffing within the studio. In addition, the SM is responsible for assuring that all levels of the studio organization perform in line with expectations for each role (Sales Associate, Floor Lead, Assistant Studio Managers, Coaches, and the Head Coach).

Responsibilities

· Must be an Orange Ambassador and always lead by example

· Must be a valued resource for employees and has working knowledge of Orangetheory Fitness (OTF)

· Deliver thorough new hire on-boarding

· Provide leadership and assist with the ongoing development, training and support of the Assistant Managers, Sales Associates and Coaches within the designated studio

· Compliance and adherence to OTF Business Policies for daily studio operations

· Responsible for achieving top-tier performance metrics including but not limited to revenue, inventory, payroll, cost controls and facilities maintenance

· Execute weekly duties on-time and with utmost attention to detail

· Attend all directed monthly meetings and listen to all Corporate Webinars

· Build and maintain OTF class size through scheduling optimization

· Be current and up-to-date on all Orange University modules and e-learnings

· Actively participate in Studio Group Chat: comment, react and connect with your designated studio employees

· Perform quality control audits on Studio Workbooks, MBO reporting and studio Labor Hours

· Ensure necessary staffing levels to satisfy studio demand while remaining within the studio budget

· Host monthly staff meetings as well as 1-on-1 meetings staff

· Evaluate each studio employee on their performance and deliver intentional action plans to support in their on-going development

· Ensure that all front desk procedures are followed such as proper Member Check-In, Telephone Inquiries (general and sales related), Cash Handling, Delinquent Account Procedures, Customer Care calls, etc.

· Provide and maintain the highest level of customer service

· Plan and promote special events for the studio monthly

· Responsible for ensuring that the facility is clean, maintained and operationally sound

· Spend a minimum of 40+ hours in studio weekly including one full weekend day

· Uphold all studio policies and maintain the culture, atmosphere and overall member experience expected from all studios

Requirements

· Must possess excellent leadership and management skills to create a positive, successful environment for staff and clients!

· Minimum 2-3 years of previous sales experience required

· Minimum 2-3 years of management experience required, including directly overseeing all aspects of staff management from hiring, training, supporting, discipline, and employee separation

· Previous management experience in the health & fitness industry strongly preferred

· Strong work ethic, integrity, and professional demeanor

· Solid verbal and written communication skills required

· Ability to multi-task and manage client and staff concerns

· Ability to work and function in a team environment

· Flexible to work day, evening and/or weekend hours as needed

· Health & Fitness minded people with a passion for fitness strongly preferred

· Excellent problem-solving abilities

· Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities

· Knowledge of performance evaluation metrics and principles

· Experience in customer service and/or hospitality

· Experience in the training and development of a team

· Proven track record of meeting sales targets

· Experience with staff scheduling and staff recruitment

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote

Salary: $35,000.00 to $50,000.00 /year
