Position Title Faculty, Marketing Management
Position Summary

BCIT’s School of Business requires part-time Instructors for periods of up to 3 months.
Duties & Responsibilities

This contract includes instructional responsibilities such as: teaching curriculum; preparing and presenting classroom lectures, course delivery and assessment materials; providing practical demonstrations; and working collaboratively within our Marketing Management team and with the Program Head.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS*:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration, MA or MBA preferred.
TESL/TESOL certificate from a TESL Canada approved institution or equivalent (eg. CELTA/DELTA) highly desirable.
Professional-level, current, subject matter expertise in various topics in marketing such as but not limited to, consumer behavior, experiential marketing, CRM, brand development, digital strategy, customer experience, social enterprise and business sustainability from a marketing perspective.
3-5 years teaching experience required.
Documented experience working as an Instructor in a post-secondary or industry setting within a team environment is an asset.
Ability to excel under pressure and ‘think on your feet’.
Professional competence preparing, developing, delivering and administering post-secondary courses.
Excellent English-language communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal and people-management skills.
Demonstrated ability to deliver in class and within an online learning platform.
Ability to motivate adult learners to achieve academic success.
An established network of relevant professional contacts.

Salary Range $48.47 to $96.97 per contact hour, inclusive of vacation and holiday pay.
Additional Salary Information

Salary prorated based on percentage and term of appointment. Salary based on education, experience and placement criteria as outlined in the Collective Agreement.
