Maple Thai is a new restaurant in Midland, and we are looking for friendly, reliable, and hardworking servers to join our opening team!
We are looking for someone who provides great customer service, works well independently, and is comfortable taking responsibility for front-of-house duties during their shift. This is a great opportunity to join a new restaurant and grow with our team.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests and provide friendly, attentive service
- Take dine-in and takeout orders accurately
- Serve food and beverages
- Process cash and card payments
- Answer customer questions about the menu
- Maintain a clean and organized dining room
- Complete opening and closing duties
- Restock front-of-house supplies as needed
- Work independently during quieter shifts
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management
- Help create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests
What We're Looking For
- Previous serving or restaurant experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person
- Friendly and professional with customers
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working independently
- Able to multitask and stay organized during busy periods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Available for a mix of weekday, evening, and weekend shifts
- Smart Serve certification is required
Compensation: Hourly wage + tips
Hours: Part-time, with hours varying based on restaurant needs
