We are now looking for a motivated Sales Representative to join our team in the Vancouver area to lead all sales initiatives in the BC region. **Only candidates residing in the Vancouver area will be considered for this position**
As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for promoting our trucking & logistics services across all business units, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
We are open to part-time, fractional or alternative arrangements, as well as training new talent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the trucking and logistics sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Generate revenue through developing a strong book of business.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve sales objectives.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth delivery of services.
- Manage RFP, RFI requests.
- Develop additional relationships for project type work.
- Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude at all times.
- Report into the Landtran Logistics office on Annacis Island in Delta, BC.
- Service elements include TL, flat deck, super-b, dry/cube van, hot-shot, warehousing, logistics.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the trucking, logistics, or transportation industry.
- Strong understanding of the trucking and logistics market in Vancouver and surrounding areas.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
