Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring high-quality treatment and excellent patient experience. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment utilizing advanced dental technology and software, including Epic and Dentrix. The Associate Dentist will be responsible for diagnosing, treatment planning, and performing a wide range of dental procedures with a focus on patient comfort and care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough dental examinations and assessments using medical terminology and diagnostic tools such as CAD systems.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and preferences.
- Perform various dental procedures including restorations, extractions, root canals, crowns, and preventive care.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and office staff to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
- Educate patients on oral health maintenance, treatment options, and post-treatment care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in Dentrix or other electronic health record systems.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through ongoing professional development.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, infection control standards, and OSHA regulations.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred.
- Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix is highly desirable; familiarity with Epic is a plus.
- Experience providing pediatric dentistry (Pediatrics) is advantageous but not required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry enhances communication and documentation skills.
