Denovia Wellness is seeking a passionate and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our growing wellness team. In this role, you will provide personalized wellness and relaxation treatments that promote stress relief, relaxation, recovery, and overall well-being. As part of an integrated wellness environment, you will collaborate with other practitioners to deliver exceptional client experiences in a serene, luxury setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional wellness massage services tailored to each client's needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, aromatherapy, sports, and other relaxation-focused modalities within your scope of practice.
- Conduct client consultations to understand wellness goals, preferences, and any relevant health considerations prior to each session.
- Customize treatments to support relaxation, stress reduction, muscle recovery, and overall wellness.
- Educate clients on post-treatment self-care, stretching, relaxation techniques, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Recommend complementary Denovia Wellness services and experiences when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming treatment environment while adhering to all health, safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols.
- Ensure massage equipment, linens, oils, and treatment supplies are properly maintained and stocked.
- Collaborate with fellow wellness practitioners, including yoga instructors, sound healing practitioners, and other wellness professionals, to create integrated wellness experiences.
- Support wellness workshops, retreats, special events, and promotional initiatives as required.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently while maintaining punctuality and delivering outstanding guest service.
- Build strong client relationships through professionalism, empathy, discretion, and exceptional customer care.
Qualifications
- Certification, diploma, or formal training in massage, bodywork, spa therapy, or a related wellness discipline.
- Experience providing wellness or relaxation massage services in a spa, wellness centre, hotel spa, or holistic practice is preferred.
- Proficiency in Swedish and deep tissue massage techniques is required.
- Experience with additional modalities such as hot stone, aromatherapy, sports massage, cupping, myofascial release, or other wellness-focused techniques is an asset.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, body mechanics, and wellness practices.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
- Ability to assess client preferences and adapt treatments accordingly.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and commitment to exceptional guest service.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, confidentiality, and appropriate professional boundaries.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
