Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving Clerk to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the flow of goods into and out of our facility, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and timely deliveries. Your expertise in warehouse operations, shipping and receiving procedures, and equipment operation will help maintain smooth distribution processes. Duties
- Load and unload shipments using warehouse equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders, packing lists, or delivery documentation
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling, boxing, and securing items for transport
- Conduct order picking and fulfillment activities accurately using order pickers or manual methods
- Maintain organized storage areas, ensuring proper stacking, labeling, and inventory rotation
- Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation to ensure stock accuracy
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness daily by sweeping, emptying/change garage bags, breaking down boxes, loading garbage into waste bin
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse management systems (WMS), shipping & receiving operations, and warehouse distribution processes
- Strong understanding of order fulfillment procedures, and packaging requirements
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating weights or dimensions
- Ability to learn products, product codes, and specific needs of customers for order picking and preparation
- Ability to perform order picking efficiently while maintaining accuracy
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Strong English (oral and written) are mandatory and essential
