Responsibilities

- Operate packaging equipment and ensure proper sealing, labeling, and handling of finished products
- Use forklifts safely to move raw materials, ingredients, and finished goods within the facility
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the production area to comply with food safety regulations
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify mechanical issues or maintenance needs
- Follow all safety protocols related to food processing, equipment operation, and workplace sanitation
- Assist in inventory management by recording ingredient usage and reporting shortages or discrepancies
Skills
- Knowledge of packaging processes and equipment used in food manufacturing environments
- Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently with proper certification preferred
- Strong understanding of food industry standards, including sanitation and food safety regulations
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting basic machinery issues
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and recording data
- Familiarity with food processing procedures and quality control practices
