Vi-Dale Farms Ltd. is a mixed farming operation located in the Didsbury-Cremona area of Alberta. We are seeking a full-time Farm Operator to operate and maintain farm equipment, farmland and buildings, and to assist with hay, grain, and cattle production.
Duties include:
Performing day to day farm operations including seeding, spraying, haying, and harvesting, feeding and caring for cattle, hay and grain sales and delivery, fencing, and maintenance of machinery, buildings, yards, and tools.
- No-till grain, pulse, and oilseed production, chemical application, grain sales & delivery;
- Hay production, marketing, sales & delivery;
- Cattle and Pasture care;
- Equipment maintenance and repair.
Requirements:
- High School education
- Class 1 Driver’s License
- 5 years on-farm experience
- Welding, Mechanics
- Criminal check
English-speaking workplace in a rural environment.
