Position: Carpenter (Fly in - Fly out)
Salary range: $60 per hour + OT after 8 hors a day
We are seeking an experienced and certified Carpenter to support our client, a mining company operating at a busy site in Northern BC. This contract role is expected to run for approximately 4 months and follows a 2-weeks-on, 2-weeks-off rotation. The successful candidate will support maintenance projects at the camp, including the removal and disposal of existing cabinets, installation of new cabinets, and completion of remaining finishing work and accessory installations. This position pays $60/hour, with overtime paid after 8 hours per day, working out to approximately $70/hour over a 12-hour day. Flights and camp accommodations are provided. Candidates must be able to provide references and successfully complete a medical assessment (drug testing) and criminal background check. Basic tools are also required.

Job Requirements / Project Scope
The scope of this project involves renovating camp rooms with new cabinets and completing associated finishing work:
- Removing existing cabinets and preparing rooms for renovation
- Transporting removed cabinets and materials to the designated warehouse for disposal
- Installing new cabinets according to project specifications
- Completing remaining finishing work and accessory installations as required
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the project
Following all site safety procedures and mining camp requirements

Main Qualifications:
- Journeyman Carpenter
- Experience working on a rotational basis, particularly in harsh climates
- Knowledge and experience of industry related safe work practices
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment, self-starter and self-motivated, capable of working autonomously with minimum supervision and guidance
- Trouble shooting capabilities are an asset
- Physically fit and capable of safely hauling and carrying cabinets up stairs and throughout camp facilities
