Overview:
Capstone is seeking a Leasing Coordinator with a minimum of 2-years experience to support leasing success and day-to-day operations of our residential communities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, an interest in working in a fast-paced environment, and exceptional customer service abilities.
The Leasing Coordinator will report to both the Director and the Director of Operations.
Schedule:
The schedule for the Leasing Coordinator role is Monday-Friday from 12:00pm-8:00pm.
Responsibilities
- Assist with advertising of available properties
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants
- Assist prospective tenants through the application and leasing process
- Assist in processing lease applications and notify prospective tenants whether their application has been accepted or declined
- Compile new tenant files
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to resident inquiries
- Complete move-in and assist with move-out inspections
- Prepare, process and renew lease agreements while supporting rent collection and follow-up as needed
- Tasks such as data entry, filing, and record keeping to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with Property Manager to implement strategies for tenant retention and occupancy growth
- Maintain excellent phone and email etiquette when communicating with tenants, vendors, and team members
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Property Management field
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Willingness to learn new systems
- Knowledge of residential leasing practices and housing regulations an asset
- Valid Alberta driver's license
- Access to a reliable vehicle with a minimum $1 million vehicle liability insurance

Salary: $42,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
