Throughout the day, you’ll manipulate electrical components, compress wires, take precise measurements, and complete documentation that tracks assembly progress. You may move heavy materials with forklifts or overhead cranes, support material staging, and ensure all work meets strict safety and quality standards.
Specific Duties
- Install and secure coils, cores, and electrical transformer components according to engineering specifications.
- Read and interpret assembly plans, electrical drawings, and measurement documents.
- Perform accurate measurements in both metric and imperial systems and record results.

- Manipulate large cables, compress wires, and perform mechanical adjustments as needed.
- Cut wood, sand components, and prepare materials for the various assembly stages.
- Use tools such as wrenches, impact drivers, ratchets, drills, and other mechanical hand or power tools.
- Track project progress by documenting assembly stages and completing required forms (self checks, accessory lists, shipping documentation, etc.).
- Manage materials, accessories, and inventory required for each project.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace to ensure efficient workflow.
- Verify that loading docks are safe, functional, and properly maintained.
- Support adjustments or corrections needed during assembly.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
