Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Supervisor to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Manage inventory control and ordering of supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance team performance.
- Coordinate food preparation and cooking processes to ensure timely service.
- Assist in menu planning, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Train new staff on kitchen procedures, food handling, and safety protocols.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to meet fine dining standards.
- Collaborate with the catering team for special events and banquets.
- Conduct regular inspections of kitchen equipment and work areas to maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Handle shift management responsibilities, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in kitchen management or supervisory roles within the food industry.
- Strong background in food production, preparation, and service management.
- Experience in catering/ Banquet services is preferred.
- Knowledge of dietary department practices is a plus.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Proficient in inventory management and control processes.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene practices.
