Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Class 1 Driver/Operator to join our team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles and heavy equipment to transport freight safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 1 commercial vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to transport freight over designated routes
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles and heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during vehicle operation and freight handling
- Document transportation activities accurately, including delivery logs and inspection reports
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards
Experience
- 1-3 Years experience with handling flatbed loads are preferred.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols in transportation environments
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and commercial driving is essential
Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
