Job Overview
Charman’s Home Hardware Building Centre is seeking a Sales Associate, with advance knowledge of plumbing and electrical, that can help us continue to provide a friendly and helpful retail experience to our customers, contractors, and community. Working as part of our energetic team, you will be responsible for prompt and courteous service to our customers, giving advice on tools or building materials necessary to complete their project.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting customers by providing product and construction knowledge
- Greeting customers and completing sales
- Keeping up to date with local building codes and product knowledge
- Other duties as needed (loading, unloading, assisting with delivery and order logistics, etc.)
- Some heavy lifting required. Standing for extended periods of time, bending, kneeling.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of local building codes, construction, plumbing, and electrical
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
