About the Opportunity:
B.E.S.T. (Build Empowered & Skilled Tomorrow) is a FREE federally funded initiative for youth aged 15–30 who want to gain hands-on experience, develop career skills, and make a positive impact in their community.
Participants are matched with local partner organizations for volunteer internships in areas like:
- Marketing & Digital Media
- Event Coordination
- Fundraising & Outreach
- Sustainability Assistant
- Program Support
- Other roles based on your interests
Highlights:
- Pre-placement training to prepare you for success
- Flexible schedules to fit around school, work, or personal commitments
- Volunteer hours count toward the Ontario high school 40-hour requirement (if applicable)
- Access to professional mentors and networking opportunities
- Eligible participants receive a Presto card for transportation and a laptop for program use
