Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) to join our team at the Abilities Center in Whitby. In this role, you will provide exceptional massage therapy services tailored to individuals with neurological and orthopedic conditions in an innovative environment. You'll have the opportunity to work with a wide range of clientele including Individuals with neurological conditions, Abilities Centre members and staff, Para sport athletes, Provincial and national-level athletes, and General orthopedic and wellness clients
You'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with our multidisciplinary team, including physiotherapists, chiropractors, athletric therapists, and fellow RMTs
Your expertise will help improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance overall well-being.
Availability
We are looking for candidates with the following availability: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Compensation
This role will be filled as an independent contractor with specific fee splits discussed during the interview process based on experience
NeuroChangers will supply the following
- All treatment supplies, including linens, towels, sheets, PPE,
- paperless charting
- Training and support using Jane App (EMR, scheduling, and payment processing)
- Hydraulic treatment tables
- Access to exercise equipment for client rehabilitation and self-care
- Mentorship from experienced Registered Massage Therapists,Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, and Athletic Therapists

Responsibilities
- Deliver professional massage therapy treatments based on individualized assessment and client needs
- Maintain thorough documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive rehabilitation strategies
- Build and grow your case load in a supportive environment
- Develop treatment plans tailored to each client's individual needs.
Qualifications
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO)
- diploma in massage therapy from an accredited program
- excellent communication skills for effective patient interactions
- experience working with neurological populations is an asset but not required
Pay: $60.00-$80.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12.0 – 20.0 per week
