Calder Clean Co provides premium residential cleaning services to homeowners across the Kelowna and Okanagan area, including high-end and full-service house management clients. We're growing, and we're looking for an experienced cleaner who's ready to step into a lead role on our team.
Overview
We're hiring a Lead Cleaning Technician to anchor our residential team. This is primarily a hands-on cleaning role - you'll be on-site delivering the high standard our clients expect - with the added responsibility of training newer and younger team members as they join us. As you and our newer hires get established with clients, you'll also take on quality control visits to make sure every site meets our standard.
This role suits someone who takes pride in detail-level work, wants more responsibility without leaving the field, and is comfortable mentoring others by example.
Duties
- Perform high-quality residential cleans, including for our premium and full-service clients
- Train and mentor newer cleaning staff on technique, standards, and pace
- Conduct quality checks to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within client homes.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members on cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and customer service best practices.
- Manage time effectively to complete cleaning assignments within designated timeframes.
- Catch and correct detail-level issues before they become client complaints
- Communicate professionally with clients and report issues back to management
What We're Looking For
- Proven residential cleaning experience with strong attention to detail
- A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle (required as this role involves daily travel between sites at times)
- Strong, dependable attendance - our clients count on consistency
- Comfort training and giving feedback to newer team members
- A genuine eye for quality and pride in a job done right
- Ability to work independently and use good judgment on-site
