Our Consullux lighting team provides distinctive architectural lighting design services to the design community, property developers, and end-users globally. The team views each project with an opportunity to create a customized solution that is unique to the client while meeting the project requirements effectively.

Job Summary:
We are currently recruiting an Intermediate Lighting Designer to join our Consullux lighting team. In this role, you will demonstrate your passion for lighting design by assisting lighting designers with the design of interior/exterior lighting for a wide range of building types, such as educational facilities, concert halls, cultural institutions, and healthcare facilities. The successful candidate will work effectively in a team-based environment and will possess the ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects from project managers.
In this role, you will:
Work alongside architects, interior designers, and property owners, assisting senior lighting designers to provide schematic and detailed design of interior/exterior lighting for various building facilities.
Taking into consideration the energy codes and IES recommended light levels, you will assist in producing sketches, layouts, specifications, lighting calculations, reports, and conducting research on design and product information.
You will be a great fit if you come with:
- Ideally three (3) to five (5) years’ architectural lighting design experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Bachelor of Architecture or Architectural Engineering with a major in Lighting Design, desirable.
- Demonstrated experience interfacing with clients and developing lighting solutions that meet clients’ needs.
- Possess a high level of proficiency in the production of graphic-focused communication.
- LC designation through NCQLP (or in progress), or a member of IALD is desirable;
Skills/abilities:
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, problem-solving and decision-making skills;
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment;
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects assigned by various project managers;
- Experience and proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD 2019, eLume, Revit 2023, BIM360, and AGI 32.
- Experience in 3D design work including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign is desirable.
