Job Summary:
As an Automotive Parts Advisor, you will be the key point of contact for customers and technicians seeking automotive parts and accessories. Your role will involve identifying, sourcing, and supplying the correct parts efficiently while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers (in-person, phone, and online) with parts inquiries and orders
- Identify and source automotive parts using electronic catalog systems
- Provide accurate pricing, availability, and product information
- Process orders, returns, and warranties
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with stock organization
- Collaborate with service technicians & service advisors to ensure timely parts delivery
- Upsell and recommend additional products when appropriate
- Keep up to date with new products and industry trends
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an automotive parts role preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Familiarity with parts catalog software (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills
