Power King is seeking a highly organized and motivated Scheduler to join our team. This is a home-based position operating out of Sutton, Ontario. The Scheduler is a key liaison between our customers and service crews and serves as the first point of contact for day-to-day operations.
This role is responsible for accurately and efficiently scheduling recurring service appointments in accordance with fire code requirements, while balancing client needs with crew availability. Our service crews work night shifts, while office coordination and client communication take place during regular daytime hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a high volume of incoming calls and emails professionally and promptly
- Proactively contact customers to schedule services, confirm details, and verify database information
- Coordinate schedules for 6–7 service crews, averaging 2–3 jobs per crew per shift
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve customer inquiries and scheduling conflicts
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and job records in the database
- Schedule recurring and new customer appointments 3–4 weeks in advance, adjusting as needed
- Assist with additional administrative duties as required
Qualifications & Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills with a positive, upbeat attitude
- Ability to prioritize tasks, understand urgency, and work under pressure
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and proactive problem solver
- Confidence communicating with clients via phone and email
- Knowledge of Toronto and GTA geography is an asset (services booked centrally across Ontario)
- Experience or knowledge of commercial exhaust cleaning is an asset
- Proficient with Windows, Excel, and internet-based platforms (e.g., ServiceTrade, Google Maps)
- Team-oriented, dependable, and able to work independently
- Reliable with excellent attendance
