The Treasury Analyst position will be responsible for daily bank deposits, account balancing, updating and reconciliation of the Accounts Receivable system.
Preparation and balancing of daily bank deposits
Distribution of incoming payments to appropriate account
Updating payments received to the Accounts Receivable system
Perform monthly Accounts Receivable reconciliation and resolve any discrepencies
Perform account reconciliations and journal entries on a monthly basis
Education: Post-secondary education in business and/or accounting (i.e. Community College) or relevant business experience.
Work Experience: One or two years relevant experience
Excellent organizational and time management skills
A high degree of accuracy
The ability to prioritize workload
Computer Skills: Have a good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Knowledge: A detail-oriented person with strong time management skills and an ability to learn new processes quickly by asking questions.
Analytical Thinking: Uses logic and methods to solve problems and determine effective solutions.
Communication Skills: Communicates clearly and effectively with internal and external clients and provides accurate and timely information so that clients can make accurate decisions.
Customer Orientation: Provide excellent and courteous customer service.
Execution and Organizational Skills: Ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment, with high attention to detail and to establish priorities.
Team Work: Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude and ability to work in a group or independently.
