We are currently seeking a Project Coordinator to support a major marine bridge construction project in Northern British Columbia. This is a fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) opportunity with a 2-weeks-on, 1-week-off rotation, offering 10–12 hour workdays and an anticipated project duration of up to one year.
This position is ideal for candidates with 2–3 years of construction experience who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to advance their careers in project coordination and construction management.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily site activities with supervisors, subcontractors, and field crews
- Maintain daily reports, site documentation, and project records
- Track quantities, materials, deliveries, and work progress
- Support quality control inspections and field documentation
- Promote safe work practices and participate in safety meetings
- Assist with civil and marine structures construction activities, including excavation, grading,
- concrete, utilities, drainage, and road works
- Support the marina and bridge construction coordination as required
- Support environmental protection measures, especially for marine, shoreline, bridge, and water-
- adjacent works.
- Prepare reports and communicate effectively using Microsoft Office tools
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Technology, or a related field preferred
- 2–3 years of experience in civil, heavy civil, infrastructure, or marine construction
- Ability to read construction drawings and maintain accurate project documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
- Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
