Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in preparing high-quality dishes and supporting the overall kitchen operations. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and standards
- Cook and assemble dishes efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation standards
- Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Assist with plating, garnishing, and presentation of dishes before serving
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
- Support kitchen staff during busy periods, ensuring smooth service flow
- Stock ingredients and supplies, notify management of inventory needs
- Adhere to all health regulations and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service preferred, especially within restaurant or kitchen settings
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong understanding of meal preparation processes and kitchen operations
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings as needed

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour
