Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated 4th year commercial electrical apprentice to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals advancing in their electrical careers, with a focus on commercial projects. The apprentice will work under the supervision of licensed electricians to develop technical skills, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to the successful completion of various electrical installations and maintenance tasks. The position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. Tasks be most commonly rough-ins, running EMT, pulling wire, light layouts, light controls, some fire alarm and finishing plugs and devices. Need to have own reliable transportation, hand tools and drill. Must be capable of working independently, have skilled blue print reading, strong knowledge of code and capable of working as a team member. For safety reason have good command of speaking and understanding English. Please send resume and wage expectation. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on commercial sites
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to execute project plans accurately
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for wiring, conduit installation, and equipment setup
- Work with low voltage systems as required, ensuring proper connections and configurations
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment
- Support the installation of construction wiring, fixtures, outlets, switches, and panels
- Help troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics and technical manuals
- Maintain organized work areas and ensure tools and materials are properly stored after use
Experience
- Previous experience commercial electrical work is preferred ;
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and blueprint reading is highly desirable
- Knowledge of low voltage systems and schematics will be beneficial for project execution
- Candidates should demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, adaptability, and commitment to safety standards throughout their apprenticeship journey
Pay: $30.00-$32.60 per hour
