We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Piano Instructor to inspire students of all ages through engaging, personalized music instruction. The ideal candidate will have piano expertise, experience teaching students ranging from early learners to advanced, and the ability to create a supportive learning environment. This role involves designing and delivering individual and small group piano lessons that develop musical skills, build confidence, and foster a lifelong love of music. The Piano Instructor will work with students of varying abilities and learning needs in a community-based setting.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver customized piano lesson plans tailored to each student's age, skill level, learning pace, and musical goals.
- Teach proper piano technique, music theory, sight-reading, and performance skills through structured, engaging lessons.
- Conduct individual and small group piano lessons, monitoring student progress and adjusting instruction accordingly.
- Create a positive, encouraging learning environment that builds student confidence and motivation.
- Prepare students for recitals, performances, and music assessments as appropriate.
- Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding progress, practice expectations, and areas for improvement.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and special needs, ensuring an inclusive experience for all students.
- Maintain organized lesson records and track student advancement.
- Foster creativity and musical expression while maintaining disciplined practice standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in piano performance with demonstrated mastery of technique and music theory.

Pay: $20.50-$47.91 per hour
