Aevitas Inc. is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Site Services Technician/Coordinator to support industrial, utility, and environmental service projects involving decommissioned electrical equipment, hazardous materials, transportation coordination, and industrial field services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating projects, supervising field activities, completing regulatory documentation, supporting health and safety compliance, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This position involves a combination of office and field responsibilities in industrial and utility environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and support industrial, utility, and hazardous materials projects from planning through completion
- Assist in preparing project proposals, schedules, work scopes, and site documentation
- Attend client meetings and assist in determining project requirements and timelines
- Conduct site inspections, hazard assessments, and pre-job planning activities
- Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, transportation providers, and heavy equipment activities
- Ensure compliance with environmental, occupational health and safety, and transportation regulations
- Complete manifests, shipping documents, bills of lading, waste documentation, and related regulatory paperwork
- Monitor project progress, budgets, schedules, and quality of work performed
- Coordinate and participate in daily safety meetings and field discussions
- Assist with spill response planning and emergency preparedness activities
- Ensure pumps, hoses, generators, spill equipment, tools, and related equipment are maintained and available for projects
- Take corrective action when unsafe conditions or non-compliant activities are identified
Support projects involving:
- Decommissioned electrical equipment
- Transformer and oil handling
- Hazardous materials
- Utility and industrial site services
Coordinate or participate in work involving:
- Working at heights
- Confined space entry
- Industrial cleaning and pumping activities
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial services, utilities, hazardous materials, environmental services, transportation, or construction coordination preferred
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and environmental compliance requirements
- Experience with manifests, shipping documentation, waste paperwork, or TDG documentation considered an asset
- Familiarity with heavy equipment coordination, confined space entry, working at heights, and industrial safety practices
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel to project sites as required
