Surefire Ventures is looking for qualified Maintenance tech for an apartment building in downtown Calgary.
The Apartment Building Maintenance Technician reports to the Property Manager.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Maintaining inventory and equipment
- Plumbing repair and general knowledge of HVAC
- Knowledge of boilers / building operator an asset
- Painting/Caulking
- Turning over units
- Minor electrical
- Appliance repair is an asset.
- Cleaning as needed
- Responding to emergencies (on-call)
- Adhering to safety and security policy
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as great attention to detail
What you bring - To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:
· Must be able to pass background check.
- Two to three years of Highrise building maintenance experience
- The ability to stand on your feet for lengthy periods.
- Basic computer literacy
We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and a customer service mindset. Strong leadership abilities are also important for this role.
· Fourth / Fifth Class Power Engineering Certificate Would be an asset.
· Certified Pool & Spa Operator (CPO) certificate. Would be an asset.
