Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
- Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure the store is visually appealing
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Utilize strong communication skills to inform customers about promotions, new products, and store policies
- Manage time effectively to ensure all responsibilities are completed efficiently during shifts
- Uphold phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
- Support inventory management and assist with merchandising tasks as needed
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or technology sales is preferred
- Multilingual or bilingual capabilities (e.g., English plus additional languages) are a plus for serving diverse clientele
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills for transactions
- Experience with product demos, upselling, and merchandising strategies is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively are essential for success in this role
