Overview
Join our team as a Part-Time Project Co-ordinator and be at the forefront of driving successful construction projects from inception to completion.
In this role, you will orchestrate project activities, facilitate communication among stakeholders, and ensure that all project milestones are achieved efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate has previously worked inside Buildertrend on real construction projects and understands how a well-organized Buildertrend project should operate.
We are looking for someone who can take information provided by our Owner, Project Manager and site team and turn it into clear, organized, accurate project records without requiring constant supervision.
Responsibilities
- Set up and coordinate Buildertrend projects, schedules, bids, financials and supporting documentation to ensure timely delivery and monitoring of construction phases.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to facilitate clear communication and resolve issues promptly.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to support accurate project execution.
- Utilize Buildertrend (construction management software) to track progress, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and milestones for internal teams and stakeholders.
- Assist in procurement activities by reviewing construction estimates and supporting bid processes.
- Maintain comprehensive records of project documentation including material and subcontractor bills, product specifications and change orders.
Qualifications
- Specific experience using Buildertrend for construction management in B.C. is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience working with a general contractor, residential builder, renovation company, or construction management company.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software such as BuilderTrend, ProCore or similar tools.
- Knowledge of construction estimating practices is highly desirable.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working with construction management software platforms to track project progress and documentation.
- Construction experience that demonstrates a solid understanding of site operations and safety protocols.
