Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled LCT/TCP (Lane Closure Truck / Traffic Control Person) to join our construction team. This role involves operating heavy equipment, assisting with paving projects, and supporting various construction activities. Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to support paving and construction operations
- Assist with site preparation, including setting up traffic control measures to ensure safety for workers and the public
- Support paving activities by spreading materials, leveling surfaces, and ensuring quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work site, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies during daily operations
Requirements
- Prior experience in heavy equipment operation, paving, or general construction is preferred
- Knowledge of traffic control procedures and safety standards is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials or equipment as needed
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not mandatory depending on project needs
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively as part of a team
