You’re a very organized master multi-tasker and don’t relent until the job is complete. Along with your agility and ability to deal with daily ambiguity, you understand that success in Talent Acquisition is a result of responsiveness, urgency and holding yourself accountable. So, you’re thinking, “How do I get my foot in the door with an amazing company?” Perhaps this rare opening in our Talent Acquisition team in September 2021 for 8 months is just what the career counsellor ordered.
You will be supporting full cycle recruitment, to help us hire amazing new talent at Canfor’s operations across Canada and the USA. You are passionate about recruiting and will bring that passion to this fun, challenging and very rewarding role.
Ideally, you are enrolled at a post-secondary institution and completing a degree or diploma in HR. Your customer service orientation, creativity, and attention to detail are the foundational skills that you’ll build in the exciting role. You also have a high sense of urgency and an acute ability to aptly prioritize tasks and departmental needs.
