Overview:
We are seeking a professional and skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and be knowledgeable in food safety and handling procedures.
Duties:
- Greet customers and take drink orders promptly
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area and adhere to all food safety regulations
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently
- Engage with customers, provide recommendations, and offer assistance as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant or bar setting
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and safe alcohol serving practices
- Proficiency in cash handling and operating POS systems
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately
