Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, expertly serve beverages, and ensure an exceptional experience. This role requires strong multitasking skills, excellent customer service, and a solid understanding of food and beverage operations. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued. The Bartender will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment for all patrons.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience
- Operate POS systems for order processing and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness of bar area, glassware, and utensils in accordance with food safety standards
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and adherence to legal regulations
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service policies
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning or end of shifts
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Strong knowledge of the food industry standards related to food safety and handling
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
- Proven customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and calculating tabs
- Experience in hospitality environments that require serving alcohol responsibly is a plus

Pay: $18.50-$20.00 per hour
